Avonmouth Engineering Services raise £1810 for WaterAid!

Avonmouth Engineering Services Ltd, alongside sister companies Bedford Pumps & Hidrostal raised £1810 for WaterAid at their recent Charity Open Day

We would like to thank each and every person who supported us at our recent Open Day! I am delighted to announce that the event, combined with our colleague Jody De'Ath's 2 x marathon miles, raised an amazing £1810 for WaterAid, and we had such a lot of fun doing so!

Despite a gloomy start weather wise, the turnout was fantastic, and our visitors were rewarded for their attendance with a delicious hog roast courtesy of Spitting Pig, and a lovely sunny afternoon - although that didn’t stop many getting wet in our dunk tank and stock games!

Once again I would like to thank our generous raffle sponsors Brook Crompton UK Limited AESSEAL ABB APDS Ltd Bearings South West Ltd John Crane Hidrostal Ltd Bedford Pumps Ltd Corinne Roome, for some incredible prizes, and our volunteer speaker from WaterAid for giving up his time and reminding us of the vital importance of this Charity.
